Alice's Story (State of Washington v. Alice)
Outcome: DUI reduced to Negligent Driving First Degree - No Jail. DISMISSAL in 24 months.
Description: According to the WSP trooper's police report, Alice was stopped for speeding and failed to adequately perform the field tests. The trooper noted all the typical signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication such as slurred speech, watery and bloodshot eyes, etc. Alice was arrested and taken to the precinct where she provided a breath sample of .098 and .096 grams per 210 liters of breath.
The King County Prosecutors office filed DUI charges on Alice and wanted her to go to jail, pay huge fines, loose her drivers license, drive with an Ignition interlock for a year, be on probation for five years, and no longer travel to Canada. We got the charges reduced so she can continue with her powerful career and support her daughter as a sole parent.
