Two off duty Seattle Police Officers were arrested for DUI. According to the police reports, the female officer was driving a car in South Seattle and hit a pole that is owned by the City of Seattle. The officers switched seats and fled the scene of the accident. Stopped shortly afterwards the two officers were arrested. The female officer, who hasn't been named yet, was physically resistant at the the precinct to the investigation of Seattle Officer Chet Baker.
Unlike the recent King County Prosecutors decision to not file DUI charges on Snohomish County District Judge Ryan, which left the criminal law community stunned, it is expected that the City Attorneys Office will file charges.
